The Simmons family moved to Ty Canol in the village of Rhydargaeau in the late winter of 1991. Ty is Welsh for house and Canol; middle. We therefore live in “Middle House” so it seemed not unreasonable to name our wares after the house – Middle-ware. It also suits the idea that the catering business would be offering its wares to fill our customers middles.
